SUMMARY:TCYI CEU Series: Working w/ the Fawn Response
DESCRIPTION:Join TCYI Faculty Member & Trainer\, Bri Liu for the first event of our new CEU Series: \nTCYM and Working with the Fawn Response \nObjectives: \nExplore different frameworks to better understand fawn response as a survival strategy including: \n\n\nTrauma informed and attachment focused: both developmental/interpersonal\, and systemic \n\n\nEvolutionary \n\n\nNeurobiology/Nervous System \n\n\nCompassionate and Strengths based \n\n\nRecognize when our clients may be operating from a fawn response and the cost of overutilizing the fawn response \nGain clinical tools to support our clients in softening their need to utilize the fawn response through TCYM and other somatic strategies \nThis will be an interactive space and will include discussion\, case conceptualization\, and practical strategies. Participants will receive 1.5 CEU credits for mental health professionals and through Yoga Alliance. \nThis workshop is geared towards clinicians\, but if you are a yoga teacher who might be interested in creating a special series or classes focused on addressing fawning\, you are welcome and encouraged to join!
