SUMMARY:TCYM Level 1 Certification Virtual Training w/Krystal
DESCRIPTION:TCYM℠ is a 30-hour certification training that integrates trauma-informed yoga and somatic therapy practices. Most frequently attended by mental health professionals\, yoga teachers/therapists and bodyworkers\, this training is open to anyone wanting a comprehensive trauma education and the skills to support others in using yoga and somatic therapy practices to heal and resolve trauma. A major part of being trauma-informed is staying within one’s scope of practice- regardless of your profession\, we provide you with skills and resources to practice within your scope and support the healing of others. \nYou will gain a comprehensive education in Trauma/PTSD including neuroscience and Polyvagal Theory\, the relationship between social justice and collective trauma healing\, Trauma-Conscious Yoga\, and Somatic Psychotherapy Practices. We will give you a formalized roadmap around how to integrate these practices into your current work\, while remaining intuitive and connected to your authentic voice. \nThis 30-hour live training takes place over 2 weekends\, July 17-19 & August 1-2 (9:00am–3:30pm PST each day). By the end of the training\, you’ll be certified in the TCY Method and equipped to bring these practices into both individual and group settings. \nTuition: $1\,150\, with payment plans available through Klarna and Affirm. \nPlease be aware all Certifications and payments are non-refundable but may be independently sold at the customer’s discretion. We do provide the flexibility to transfer your registration to a future date one time for free if requested at least 30 days prior to the training date. DESCRIPTION:Join TCYI Faculty Member & Trainer\, Bri Liu for the first event of our new CEU Series: \nTCYM and Working with the Fawn Response \nObjectives: \nExplore different frameworks to better understand fawn response as a survival strategy including: \n\n\nTrauma informed and attachment focused: both developmental/interpersonal\, and systemic \n\n\nEvolutionary \n\n\nNeurobiology/Nervous System \n\n\nCompassionate and Strengths based \n\n\nRecognize when our clients may be operating from a fawn response and the cost of overutilizing the fawn response \nGain clinical tools to support our clients in softening their need to utilize the fawn response through TCYM and other somatic strategies \nThis will be an interactive space and will include discussion\, case conceptualization\, and practical strategies. Participants will receive 1.5 CEU credits for mental health professionals and through Yoga Alliance. \nThis workshop is geared towards clinicians\, but if you are a yoga teacher who might be interested in creating a special series or classes focused on addressing fawning\, you are welcome and encouraged to join!

SUMMARY:TCYM Level 2 Certification w/Krystal
DESCRIPTION:TCYM Level 2 is a 30-hour certification training that offers a deeper dive into the topics and skills offered in TCYM Level 1\, and an exploration into several new content areas. One of the greatest benefits of attending this training is that Level 2 offers an in-depth investigation of intergenerational trauma. You will receive a more expansive education on generational trauma and the research\, and your trainer will provide you with somatic practices to heal intergenerational trauma in the body using the Internal Family Systems process of Legacy Unburdening + yoga. You will explore these practices for yourself first and then have the resources to offer them to your clients and communities. \nIn Level 2 there is also a greater integration of Buddhist Psychology and emphasis on the pillars of awakening and liberation through embodied work. Our founder’s book\, Embodied Self Awakening: Somatic Practices for Trauma Healing and Spiritual Evolution is the companion manual to this course. \nPlease note that this training is open only to those who have completed TCYM Level 1. \nCourse Prerequisites: \nTo attend TCYM Level 2\, we ask that you: \nHave completed and received certification in TCYM Level 1 (attendance in other trauma-informed yoga trainings is not a replacement for TCYM Level 1) \nAre using TCYM in your current professional practice. If not\, we ask that you attend at least two coaching calls/consultation groups prior to attending TCYM Level 2. Please email our Admin team for more info if you are not currently using TCYM in your practice but are interested in attending Level 2 (info@traumaconsciousyoga.com). \nThis 30-hour live training takes place over 2 weekends\, Jan 15-17 & Jan 30-31 (9:00am–3:30pm PST each day).
