Jennifer Slane, MS, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor currently working as a mental health therapist with a specialization in trauma. In my current role at Midland Rape Crisis and Children's Advocacy Center, I provide therapeutic treatment for children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, and/or neglect, as well as those who have witnessed domestic violence or homicide. I relocated from Midland, TX to Houston, TX in the fall of 2021 and now provide all of my services through teletherapy.

I provide a person-centered approach to treatment, as well as utilize trauma-specific modalities; I am currently certified in TF-CBT and Trauma-Conscious Yoga and have completed training in EMDR, Sand Tray, and PSB-CBT. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families and I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
