Ninette Cormier, LPC-S, RYT 200
My goal as a therapist is to offer counseling to school-age children, adolescents and adults in a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment. Through a solution-focused approach, using a variety of techniques with long-standing proven results, clients are given opportunities to explore options, work through hardships, learn skills to cope with life’s stressors and obtain goals. We’ll be able to figure out what behaviors and/or thoughts might be holding you back from living your best life, and finding meaning in everyday situations.
I am certified in Thanatology and specialize in providing support to those who have experienced loss through the death of a significant person or relationship; and to those suffering with a life-altering illness and their families.
We hold emotions and past experiences in our minds and in our bodies. As a registered yoga teacher, breath work, relaxation techniques, meditation and movement can be incorporated into sessions for those interested in connecting the mind, body and spirit. Experience the healing benefits through the Trauma Conscious Yoga Method!
There may be no magic button or quick-fix solution when it comes to changing things from the past that have been difficult, but we can work together to find comfort and resolve in the difficult areas of your life, and the challenges you have to face.
Whether you’re looking for support or guidance through a particularly difficult time, or you’re open to a real change in your life, together, we can work to achieve dreams, and meet your goals.
