Welcome Here, Dear Friend .

One of the primary barriers psychotherapists report when they come to The Trauma-Conscious Yoga MethodⓇ Certification Training is that they are burnt out with how they are working. One of the greatest benefits they report after integrating TCYM into their work is relief from burnout.

It starts with this key teaching that we tap into at the very beginning of training:

🌺 🌿✨ Within each of us there is something that trauma cannot touch, cannot break, cannot damage. It is the higher inner resource, the wise self, innate to all of us. While trauma can distance our ability to access it, its in there, in each of us.

As psychotherapists when we help our clients access this well of wisdom within, we can step out of our client’s way and so much of the healing is spontaneous. It is a miracle to witness each time. And there is nothing more breathtaking.

And from this heart-centered space, we have the privilege of bearing witness to the healing happening within those we serve. We are no longer forcing our beliefs, knowledge or our own unmet needs onto our clients and burnout truly becomes a thing of the past.

I’ve seen it happen again and again within clients and practitioners in our community. And it is a true miracle to witness.

🌺 🌿✨ A lot of TCYM practitioners initially find their way to The Trauma-Conscious Yoga MethodⓇ training seeking relief from imposter syndrome, burnout, and/or compassion fatigue. Does this resonate?

Are you feeling insecure in your work? Are you wanting to work differently? Are you trying too hard and doing too much for others and too little for yourself?

I understand! I used to be there!

🌺 🌿✨ Psychotherapists are needing a method that invigorates their spirit, enlivens their work, and supports their client’s transformation. I am humbled to say that these are a few of the benefits healing professionals have reported following their certification and upon introducing TCYM to their clients.

During TCYM training, trainees experience this transformation first-hand as they explore their own core needs and unresolved wounds, while allowing for compassionate presence in relationship to their own bodies.

As healing and helping professionals, when we’re working overtime trying to give clients the answer, we exhaust our own systems and our work is ineffective.

I am happy to share with you that this way of working and being with others can stop here….

What we know and honor within yoga and somatic healing systems, like TCYM, is the body’s innate capacity to heal. The human body knows just what it needs to heal.

To recap:

🌺 🌿✨ Yes, the body holds the legacy and history of trauma, and it also holds every ounce of wisdom needed to heal that trauma.

🌺 🌿✨ Within each of us there is something that trauma cannot touch, cannot break, cannot damage. And in TCYM we help our clients tap into that highest inner resource. Then we can step out of our client’s way and the healing is spontaneous. What a spacious, peaceful, satisfying way to be with those we serve.

When we can allow ourselves to be a vehicle supporting our client’s transformation, as opposed to the driving force behind their transformation, we have the space to give ourselves what we need too and burnout becomes a thing of the past. Our work is invigorating and elevating. We find peace in our work and in our lives.

This is my hope for you.
