Description
As a Latina and a mother, I know we are often times given a set of ideals, a To Do list of sorts, that are meant to shape our lives and lead us to “success”. Yet even when we follow the plan and collect the recognitions we often find ourselves feeling like our life is not our own. We feel lost and trapped by depression, anxiety, low self esteem, perfectionism and a host of other limiting thoughts and beliefs.
I work with BIPOC women to overcome the experiences and trauma that keep us in lives that are not fully ours. My approach is based on a therapist/client partnership examining your experiences, understanding the effect they’ve had and using them to move forward and release the power you naturally embody. This includes traditional talk therapy alongside meditative practices, physical movement, sound healing and other spiritual practices.
