Jessica “Jess” Fletcher, LPC | Healthy Synergy, LLC

Call me Jess. I believe therapy is a collaborative process grounded in a trusting, therapeutic relationship. In my role, I provide the compassionate space for you to begin self-reflection and explore ways to initiate changes in your life. The therapy relationship becomes the safe, working model to practice communication. My style is salutogenic and asset-focused, which means I emphasize health on a continuum and support you in moving toward health, functionality, and well-being by building upon your intuitive resiliency. We work together to help you embrace uncertainty in the transformation process, clarify your values, and explore your relationship with your thoughts, emotions, and body.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, and I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTS) with Trauma Institute International. I am a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). I have completed continuing education training on working with transgender, nonbinary, and gender expansive adults and youth, and I practice as a LGBTQIA+, Poly, Kink affirmative clinician. I am certified in the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method through the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Institute. I received my master’s degree in counseling at Arizona State University (ASU) and completed my undergraduate degrees in psychology (with a minor in family and human development) and English (creative writing: fiction concentration) in the Barrett Honors College at ASU. Valuing trauma-informed advocacy, I am also an adjunct faculty member and a Certified Trauma and Resilience Life Coach at the Arizona Trauma Institute.

I work with adolescents and adults, and I have experience coordinating care with other supportive services and settings, such as schools, medical, psychiatry, and behavioral health referral programs. I believe people are incredibly resilient, and I strive to practice in holistic ways, incorporating the body, culture, gentle somatic work, intersectional identities, and community into the healing process.
