Leslie Goertzen, LSCSW, LMAC | Compass Behavioral Health
Leslie is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Master’s Addiction Counselor who graduated from Wichita State University with a Master’s Degree of Social Work. Leslie’s primary area of focus is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and working with adolescents and adults who are at risk for self-harm and suicide. She also treats people who might suffer from depression, anxiety, and addiction, among others. In 2014, she was intensively trained to be a DBT therapist and has since provided this treatment. As Leslie being the leader of the DBT team at the Dodge City outpatient clinic, she ensures procedures are being followed and client care is the primary focus within treatment. Leslie is also a trainer for Mental Health First Aid where she providers training to the public and agencies who would like to learn how to respond when someone is having a mental health crisis or issue.
